Make sure your color settings are for CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black). Some applications do not save to this color scheme.
Have your image sizes set to allow a 1/8 inch bleed
Print out your images (if possible) before you send them for press printing. You will notice that your screen image may look slightly different when printed.
